Apart from the total darkness and the awareness of not having a body is not that much has changed then.
still breathing, that's for sure, with the difference that can not hear the sound of the wind nor the feeling that the air reaches the lungs. Could you breathe in and out at will, but does not have the strength to do so.
And the eyes? Are open or closed?
closed, it seems, as if he had opened a bit after 'drying out and should close them, and that would be a movement that would not know how to control. More than the lack of power seems not to remember at all how to make a move. As if his brain had suddenly lost all the information you need to send impulses to the nerves.
The last memory of a movement that fails to recall the laughter-childhood, when his father taught him to swim coordinating arm movements with those of the legs. Right arm, left foot, left arm, right foot. An effort at first, but then it became natural. A sweet family memories that inevitably refers to a few years later when taking piano lessons in coordinating the efforts spent his left hand and right hand did not give the benefits that the mother expected.
Now, as back in the amniotic fluid, did not appear to need to coordinate anything. Unlike a fetus, however, Carmine has memories with which to confront. Here! Perhaps he has found the answer. Death is not nothing but a return to the fetal state with an experience made in the world. However, an experience that allows him to be sure to come by, as disembodied, in the supine position with the feeling of laying his head on something not so soft.
Why did not he realized before? A slight pressure behind your head is conclusive proof of owning a La-being, and perhaps even unable to move.
Yeah. But how do you move your head? We should move the muscles of the neck. Bringing this to the neck. But if his head is all there is suggests that the neck. It is worth groped. So
Carmine agrees with the highest concentration of mind to look in the right places to cause the muscles SCOs-sa. It takes so much effort to begin to feel an incredible pain in the front and is an excellent evidence to have the opposite. Before giving in to pain
something unexpected happens. A scream, a cry of suffering and almost suffocated to get his perception! Is there anyone else beside him is his or her cry? It would be a wonderful discovery. In one fell swoop would know ave-king mouth, ears, throat and vocal cords. A lot of stuff. Above all, we would be very good chance of being alive. We try again, then, with less effort and gives another groan. And here he can also feel their grief.
Not only that, he also feels it can open and close your mouth and move the tongue. Meanwhile, the headache has also increased dramatically because you added a ringing in your ears that only stops when a any noise breaks the silence, so there remains the issue that constantly moans. Between a groan and the other is the tapping of a cough of which are particularly strong to do this jump. Involuntary movement that is the beginning of a series of sensations, so many and all together, which upset his disembodied status. He realizes, finally, that the body is all there attached to his head, even if in-credibly heavy, especially the arms, which are probably coated with a second skin of lead. He can only crawl on the ground helping them with the fingers of the hand as the spiders make their way below the carrying heavy burdens. One of the spiders in that wanderings hits something hard. Something which could be called soft latex. As soon as the pads have the opportunity to test the temperature high enough that essentially comes to the appeal of the sensations of cold on Mount Caramel that of his whole body, and awareness of the nudity.
The situation seems to be clear. Carmine is naked and lying on his back and beside him a kind of mattress filled with water. Continuing his exploration touch manoragno moves on the warm pad until you reach an area with a much softer texture, typical of a woman's breast. More precisely
a tit of Marianna, even though he can not know for the moment. The pleasant
exploration is abruptly interrupted by a sort of cold fire that comes on eyes and on other occasions he would call light.
- Well? Without a satisfactory first night, newlyweds?
